What
You Can Expect
-
You/your
child will be evaluated by your physician. If they feel that you/your
child is at risk for ADHD, the physician will fax an order on a
referral form that is provided by request, to our office for an AD/HD
DSM-IV workup.
-
Once our
facility receives the order, we will contact you, and schedule your
test. We will also provide you with paperwork that will need to
be filled out prior to your visit. This paperwork includes an extensive 22
page social/medical/psychological history, and Connor’s checklists for
the appropriate persons. Our office will also fax a confirmation of
the testing time to your physician’s office for your chart.
-
We will
test you/your child at the scheduled time and you/your child will
return the completed paperwork to us. Following testing, we will have
Dr. Richard Hutchison, a licensed clinical psychologist and our
clinical director, review the results of the QEEG, digital analysis
and all of the completed paperwork from the patient. Dr. Hutchison
will then write a detailed interpretation with recommendations for
your physician to review. This interpretation and the NeuroLex results
will be faxed to your physician’s office. If your physician requests,
we can call your doctor’s office at this time to schedule your follow
up appointment.
-
You will
then return to your physician for review of your/your child’s results
and to plot a course of treatment.
-
We will be
billing insurance on your behalf. The cost of the test is $595 and you
will be responsible for any co-pay, deductible, and cost not covered
by your insurance. Any patient without insurance that is willing to
pay cash is always welcome with an order from a physician.
