you and your doctor, accuracy in evaluating AD/HD is of the utmost
importance. That is why we have decided to make the NeuroLex service

What is NeuroLex? NeuroLex is
a tool the AD/HD Assessment Center will use to provide additional
information in the assessment of AD/HD. The NeuroLex report, combined
with your doctor’s expert evaluation, will lead to a more accurate
assessment of AD/HD. The NeuroLex report introduces a completely new dimension
to the assessment process—objective analysis of physiological data.
Simply put, the patient’s brainwaves are recorded and then measured
against the patterns of both AD/HD and non-AD/HD subjects. The result
is a test that provides and objective, physiological indicator for
AD/HD—more specific than any other AD/HD evaluation tool available
today.
Lexicor.
Founded by the inventors of the pulse oximeter,
Lexicor first entered the market of biological data translation in 1989
with the introduction of an EEG data acquisition system.
Research in the field of EEG spans decades with several
thousand papers published in this area. Lexicor utilizes only the most
clinically robust research to create report services for the assessment
and evaluation of mental health and brain disorders. Lexicor offers its
Digital Cortical Scan for the collection of generic quantitative EEG
data. This hardware device is a quantitative EEG data acquisition unit
used by physicians and clinicians within their practice. Lexicor also
makes available to physicians, a separate and distinct data analysis
reporting service, known as the NeuroLex Report Service.
Clinical studies have consistently demonstrated a
distinct brain electrical activity for AD/HD. Using clinical research
findings published in peer-reviewed journals, Lexicor’s NeuroLex AD/HD
Indicator Report offers 90% sensitivity, 94% specificity, and .96
test-retest reliability in evaluating the existence of AD/HD.
Physicians, if so desired, can corroborate the NeuroLex Indicator Report™
Service findings through a systematic calculation of algorithms.
In addition to its contribution to AD/HD assessment,
Lexicor’s clinical research and development team is partnering with a
range of experts and organizations worldwide to develop future Indicator
Report™ Services for Alzheimer’s dementia, fibromyalgia, and medication
responsivity. Lexicor’s Corporate Office is based in Augusta, Georgia
